2 Corinthians 6

2 Corinthians Chapter 6

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?”

‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭

The word "fellowship” also means participation.  It implies a strong connection.  The verse has been used for Christians potentially dating or marrying a non-Christian.  It’s true, single folks are asking for trouble if they attempt to connect with a non-believer in marriage. But this verse means more than that. As believers we need to be careful who and what we link up to.  We should be careful who our friends are, and we should be careful what we watch and listen to.

Our identity should be in Christ, and not anything else! I know we live in this world, and we interact and see and hear lots of things, but remember Proverbs 4:23  “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”  Remember folks, Your Heavenly Father knows what best for us!!
